Celebrity Dancer: RaeAnn Thomas

RaeAnne Thomas –

Dr. RaeAnn Thomas is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Evolution Imaging, the Nation’s first and only female-owned medical imaging facility established right here in Edmond! She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Arizona. 

Prior to opening Evolution Imaging in 2022, she was the Director of Operations for a large Oklahoma physical therapy practice, of which she was a founding partner and owner for 17 years. She has a Masters of Positive Psychology from the University of Southern California, which focused on Organizational Leadership and Consumer Psychology.

More importantly, RaeAnn lives to travel the world with her family to her favorite Countries of Italy and Costa Rica, to name a couple. She likes to be sporty and play somewhere between 9 and 14 holes of golf before going out for Mexican food and enjoys playing pickleball and believes if you work hard at it, that you can elevate your heart rate enough to also consider shopping a form of exercise. Her dancing experience is limited to country bars and nightclubs with her sisters back in the 90s. She has spent a lifetime, however, perfecting the Roger Rabbit.

What famous celebrity would play you in a movie about your life? Jennifer Aniston.

Share one interesting fact with the public that they may not know about you? I started my educational journey at the Oklahoma City Community College, too afraid to break free from the small town feel where I was raised! Over the years, I grew to love education and was accepted into some of the country’s most prestigious Universities. Turns out, people are right about success. Showing up is 90% of the battle…just show up every day and inch your way closer to your goals!

What is your “signature dance move?” Roger Rabbit.

What are you most looking forward to about the Edmond’s Dancing with the Stars event and supporting the Edmond Chamber of Commerce?  Probably being done with it! This is pretty far outside of my comfort zone but also seemed like too fun of an opportunity to pass up. So…mostly looking forward to the energy and support in the room and not falling down…at least not all the way down.
